Step by step

4Scan any QR code on the pack. A genuine one opens the brand's own website (abib.com) or a regional site of the same company, never a lookalike address.

Signs of a fake

The code on the box and the code on the bottle do not match.
Blurry print, spelling mistakes or a font that looks different from the brand's other packs.
Shrink wrap that looks re-applied, or a broken inner seal.
A smell, colour or texture different from a bottle you know is genuine.
A price far below every other shop. A real import has a floor price made of the brand's rate, duty, VAT and shipping.
