Step by step
- 1Find the date. Korean cosmetics must show an expiry date, or a manufacture date with an open-jar symbol (like 12M), machine-printed on the box and again on the tube crimp or bottle base. A date on a sticker, or no date at all, is a warning sign.
- 2Read the back label. The maker's company name and a Korean address are printed on it, with the full ingredient list. The barcode usually starts with 880, Korea's country prefix.
- 3Check the printed date on the bottle and box match, and that the back label carries a Korean company name and address.
- 4Scan any QR code on the pack. A genuine one opens the brand's own website (iunik.co.kr) or a regional site of the same company, never a lookalike address.
Signs of a fake
- The code on the box and the code on the bottle do not match.
- Blurry print, spelling mistakes or a font that looks different from the brand's other packs.
- Shrink wrap that looks re-applied, or a broken inner seal.
- A smell, colour or texture different from a bottle you know is genuine.
- A price far below every other shop. A real import has a floor price made of the brand's rate, duty, VAT and shipping.

নকলের লক্ষণ

About IUNIK
IUNIK is a Korean brand that builds each formula around a high share of one plant water instead of plain water, with a short list of supporting ingredients. Its centella and tea tree line is made for skin that breaks out and turns red easily.
The Centella Calming Gel Cream
This is the moisturiser for oily, combination and acne-prone skin that still needs calming. Centella asiatica leaf water makes up most of the formula, with tea tree leaf water for blemishes, and niacinamide, allantoin and hyaluronic acid to soothe and hydrate. The gel sinks in fast, leaves no shine and sits well under sunscreen in humid weather.
It contains tea tree and a little bergamot oil, so it is not fragrance-free. If your skin is very reactive, try it on your jaw for a few days first.
