Step by step
- 1Find the date. Korean cosmetics must show an expiry date, or a manufacture date with an open-jar symbol (like 12M), machine-printed on the box and again on the tube crimp or bottle base. A date on a sticker, or no date at all, is a warning sign.
- 2Read the back label. The maker's company name and a Korean address are printed on it, with the full ingredient list. The barcode usually starts with 880, Korea's country prefix.
- 3Check the printed date on the tube crimp and box match, and that the back label carries a Korean company name and address.
- 4Scan any QR code on the pack. A genuine one opens the brand's own website (beplain.co.kr) or a regional site of the same company, never a lookalike address.
Signs of a fake
- The code on the box and the code on the bottle do not match.
- Blurry print, spelling mistakes or a font that looks different from the brand's other packs.
- Shrink wrap that looks re-applied, or a broken inner seal.
- A smell, colour or texture different from a bottle you know is genuine.
- A price far below every other shop. A real import has a floor price made of the brand's rate, duty, VAT and shipping.

- 3টিউবের ভাঁজ ও বক্সের ছাপা তারিখ মেলে কিনা, এবং পেছনের লেবেলে কোরিয়ান কোম্পানির নাম ও ঠিকানা আছে কিনা দেখুন।
- 4প্যাকের যেকোনো QR কোড স্ক্যান করুন। আসল কোড ব্র্যান্ডের নিজস্ব ওয়েবসাইট (beplain.co.kr) বা একই কোম্পানির আঞ্চলিক সাইট খোলে, কখনো দেখতে একই রকম অন্য ঠিকানা নয়।
নকলের লক্ষণ
- বক্সের কোড আর বোতলের কোড মেলে না।
- ঝাপসা ছাপা, বানান ভুল, বা ব্র্যান্ডের অন্য প্যাক থেকে আলাদা ফন্ট।
- শ্রিংক র্যাপ আবার লাগানো মনে হয়, বা ভেতরের সিল ভাঙা।
- নিশ্চিত আসল বোতলের চেয়ে গন্ধ, রং বা টেক্সচার আলাদা।
- সব দোকানের চেয়ে অনেক কম দাম। আসল আমদানির একটি ন্যূনতম খরচ আছে: ব্র্যান্ডের দাম, শুল্ক, ভ্যাট ও শিপিং।
